Rock around the clock
The evening was spent with Gary and Liz at the Rock and Roll show, it was a good time and the gals got Gary and Laurie up dancing and I would have loved to take a photo but it was not allowed during the preformance. Memories of the 50's and 60's were sung and we sang along to many of the tunes. We did notice that we were the youngest people in the crowd. lol....
Rama and Anitha took uncle to see Medieval times with the horses and supper was served to them by knights, they had a good evening.
Gary and Liz leave bright and early Friday morning, boy did that time go fast.

Brookgreen Gardens
We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at the gardens and the tour guide was so good at explaining it all, so many sculptures and the history behind many of them found in the Huntington Sculpture Garden. We could not possibly see the whole area with a boat ride, zoo, butterfly farm and many trails. When you purchase a ticket for 12.00 its good for 7 days.
The guide was a retired teacher and she spends 3 or 4 days a week volunteering in many aspects of the gardens, she was excellent. We ate lunch there , visited the gift shop, took trolly ride to zoo and back out again.
Last night we met Gary and Liz at Walmart and it was so funny as they went to the gardens the day before we did. Tonight we are all going to a rock and roll concert and supper after.
Have a good day....

weekend
It was a busy weekend and we started it out meeting up with Liz and Gary Tower who are here on vacatin for 10 days. We met at Applebee's and I think I had the best meal down here, chicken and shrimp with onions , Ymn it was delicious and for 2 for $20.00 it was well worth it.
Mac and I also went down to Broadway on Saturday to look around and went into the sugar store and its nothing but candy...everywhere, the kids would go crazy. We spotted Sue's favorite Laffy taffy, Mac is holding one up PRICE| 19.99, no Sue you did not get one...... also the rice krispie square 19.99....
Anitha and Rama's brothr in law arrived in town for a week so they will be busy golfing..... Nirapama leaves today and she has had a very busy weekend. We took Anitha and Nirapama down to the gardens yesterday and will show you some beautiful art tomorrow.

alligator Adventure
Living only about 3 minutes from Alligator adventure we finally took a day and enjoyed our walk about the park.
We had seen cars, buses and even golf carts fill the parking lot and we wondered why so many people would enjoy seeing reptiles, we soon found out there was lots to see and watching the feeding of the alligators was an adventure itself.
Gary and Liz arrived from Amherst, they are dropping in tonight after supper for awhile. Nirapama went shopping with us and enjoyed time at the pool.

Easter 2012
Happy Easter everyone..... We had a very busy weekend right here on the resort, the traffic was something else out on highwy 17 and everywhere else in Myrtle Beach.
Paula gave me a rosary belonging to her Mom Mary and it was a very special gift, thanks again Paula. Of course we always exchange a little something and Pumpkin gave me a sweet braclet you may be able to see in my picture and some easter candy which Mac got into.
Called our family in Moncton, Susan preparing easter supper for the first time and it was a hit. Malcolm Jr went over also and went home with leftovers for lunch tomorrow so he would have been happy. They received their easter parcel and liked it very much.
Paula, Laurie and Mac and I finally went to the alligator farm down the road, will show a few pictures at a later date...
We went to Damon's for supper..... it was really good..

Greg Norman's
We had a great time at Greg Norman's, sitting out on the deck and enjoying the boats going up and down the channel.
Most of us ordered fish and chips, Anitha ordered a club sandwich which was so big you could not fit your mouth around it so a takeout box was given to her.
We played sequence in the evening here, of course the men won but we did take 6 games.
Another beautiful day today, Easter weekend is ahead and tomorrow Anitha and Rama's company start arriving.
